Nicosulfuron is a systemic herbicide that can be absorbed by the stems, leaves and roots of weeds and then conducted in the plant body, causing sensitive plants to stagnate, stems and leaves to turn green, and gradually die. Generally, they die in 20-25 days, but it takes a longer time for some perennial weeds under low temperatures. The drug is effective when applied before the 4-leaf stage after germination, and the efficacy decreases when the seedlings are large. The drug has pre-germination herbicidal activity, but the activity is lower than that after germination.

Application:
It can control annual and perennial grass weeds and some broadleaf weeds. Tests show that weeds with strong sensitivity to the drug include barnyard grass, foxtail grass, wild oats, and Amaranthus retroflexus; weeds with medium sensitivity include Polygonum benthamiana, hyacinth, purslane, duckweed, Xanthium sibiricum, velvetleaf, and sedge; weeds with poor sensitivity mainly include Chenopodium album, Solanum nigrum, Duckweed, Kochia scoparia, and Mustela.Applicable crops are corn.
