Chlorantraniliprole can effectively activate insect nicotinic acid (muscle) receptors. Excessive release of calcium ions in intracellular calcium stores causes insects to paralyze and die. It has high activity against lepidopteran pest larvae, a wide insecticide spectrum, and good long-lasting effect. It has a longer and more stable protective effect on crops than most other pesticides in use. It can quickly protect rice growth, especially against pests that have already developed resistance to other rice pesticides, such as rice leaf rollers, striped stem borers, yellow stem borers, and rice borers. It also has a good control effect on rice gall midges, rice weevils, and rice water weevils. The pesticide is slightly toxic, very safe for pesticide applicators, and also very safe for beneficial insects, fish, and shrimp in rice fields. The long-lasting effect can reach more than 15 days, with no residual effect on agricultural products, and good mixing performance with other pesticides.
