Indoxacarb has a unique mechanism of action. It is rapidly converted into DCJW (N.2-demethoxycarbonyl metabolite) in the insect body. DCJW acts on the inactivated voltage-gated sodium ion channels of insect nerve cells, irreversibly blocking the transmission of nerve impulses in the insect body, destroying nerve impulse transmission, causing movement disorders, inability to eat, paralysis and ultimately death of the pests.
Application:
1. Suitable for controlling beet armyworms, diamondback moths, cabbage worms, cutworms, cabbage armyworms, cotton bollworms, tobacco budworms, leaf rollers, codling moths, leafhoppers, geometrids, diamondback moths, and potato beetles on crops such as cabbage, cauliflower, kale, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes, eggplants, lettuce, apples, pears, peaches, apricots, cotton, potatoes, grapes, and tea.
2. An Da has both contact and stomach effects, effective against larvae of all instars. The agent enters the insect's body through contact and feeding. Within 0-4 hours, the insect ceases feeding and is subsequently paralyzed. Its coordination is impaired (which can cause the larvae to fall from the crop), and it generally dies within 24-60 hours after application.
3. Its unique insecticidal mechanism does not induce cross-resistance with other insecticides. 4. It is low toxic to mammals and livestock, and very safe to non-target organisms and beneficial insects in the environment. It leaves low residue in crops and can be harvested the next day after application. It is particularly suitable for crops that are harvested multiple times, such as vegetables. It can be used for integrated pest control and resistance management.
