Application:
Spinosad is mainly used to control pests by spraying, while it is used to lure and kill citrus fruit flies by spot spraying and baiting.
(1) Spraying: For cruciferous vegetables, Solanaceae vegetables, melon vegetables and cotton: When used, generally use an ointment containing 2 to 2.5 grams of active ingredient in 30 to 45 liters of water per 667 square meters; when spraying on fruit trees, generally use 480 grams/liter suspension concentrate 12,000 to 15,000 times diluted, or 25 grams/liter suspension concentrate 800 to 1,000 times diluted. The spraying should be even and thorough, and the best effect is achieved when the pests are in the early stage of the outbreak. When controlling thrips, focus on spraying young and tender tissues such as young shoots, flowers, and young fruits.
(2) Spot spraying and baiting: When controlling citrus fruit flies, spot spraying and baiting are often used to lure and kill citrus fruit flies. Generally, 10 to 100 ml of 0.02% bait is sprayed per 667 square meters.
