Polyepoxide-modified heptamethyltrisiloxane is a special modified silicone surfactant with a unique structure.
It exhibits excellent wetting and spreading properties, allowing it to penetrate plant stomata.
This makes it widely used in agriculture, where it can improve pesticide effectiveness, reduce spray volumes, and contribute to environmental and ecosystem protection.
This product, a blend of polyether-modified silicone and polyepoxide-modified heptamethyltrisiloxane, is an agricultural superspreader that can be added to pesticide formulations or tank-mix sprays. At a concentration of 0.1% (wt), it can reduce the surface tension of water by 20.5 mN/m.
When mixed with a pesticide solution in a specific ratio, the silicone surfactant reduces the contact angle between the pesticide solution and plant leaves, increases spray coverage, and promotes pesticide absorption through plant stomata, thereby improving efficacy and reducing application.
