Used as plant growth regulator, 4-CPA is absorbed by plant via root, stem, leaf, bloom and fruit, It is used to prevent abscission of bloom and fruit, inhibit rooting of beans, promote fruit set, induce ormation of seedless fruit. Also used for ripening and fruit thinning. It performs better when used in combination with 0.1% monopotassium phosphate. It also has herbicidal effect at high dosage.

Solubility: Sparingly soluble in water. Readily soluble in most organic solvents. 4-CPA sodium salt is soluble in water. 
Stability: It is stable at elevated temperatures (54 ºC) and on exposure to metals, but degrades (30% loss in 24 hours) on exposure to sunlight.

4-CPA Application

Application	1. It is used to prevent abscission of bloom and fruit, inhibit rooting of beans, promote fruit set, induce formation of seedless fruit. 2.It is also used for ripening and fruit thinning. 3.It performs better when used in combination with 0.1% monopotassium phosphate. It also has herbicidal effect at high dosage. 4. It can increase the percentage of the fruit bearing(increase output) and promote the enlargement of fruit
Target Crop	Tomato: When blossom for 2-3 flowers, soak flowers in 10-20ppm. Do this three times, every 7-10 days Pumpkin Watermelon / Cucumber, etc.(melon group):   Soak or spray the flower in 20-25ppm Pepper: 10-15ppm Purple orange litchi Apple Longan: In florescence 25-30 ppm
