Propyl dihydrojasmonate (PDJ) is a synthetic jasmonic acid derivative with high biological activity. It is widely used in agriculture as a plant growth regulator. PDJ has the characteristics of good chemical stability, low volatility, and long-lasting physiological effects. It has a stronger promoting effect on plants at low concentrations and is considered to have higher practical value.
Application:
1. Promoting fruit coloring: Propyl dihydrojasmonate can induce the orderly synthesis of ethylene in plants. Ethylene is the final endogenous hormone signal precursor for the synthesis of anthocyanins, thereby promoting fruit coloring.
2. Disease prevention and resistance: The use of propyl dihydrojasmonate can enhance the disease resistance of plants and is resistant to fungal, bacterial and viral diseases.
3. Improving fruit quality: Propyl dihydrojasmonate can increase the sugar-acid ratio of fruits, improve fruit quality, and make the fruits color naturally, without turning green, softening or falling.
How to use propyl dihydrojasmonate:
Spraying period: Use when the fruit enters the coloring period, that is, spray the whole plant when the coloring area exceeds 10%-15%.
Spraying frequency: After the first spraying, spray again within 7-14 days. Some crops with a long coloring cycle can be sprayed again 15-20 days before picking.
Dilution ratio: When using 5% propyl dihydrojasmonate soluble concentrate, dilute it 300-500 times per bucket of water for spraying.
