Emamectin benzoate is an excellent insecticide and acaricide with high efficiency, broad spectrum and long residual effect. It blocks the transmission of information of motor nerves of pests and paralyzes their bodies to death. It mainly acts as a stomach poison and also has contact killing effect. It has no systemic property to crops. However, it effectively penetrates into the epidermal tissue of crops and thus has a long residual effect. It has extremely high activity against lepidopteran pests such as cotton bollworm, mites, coleoptera and homoptera pests. It is easily degraded in the soil. There is no residue. It does not pollute the environment. It is safe for beneficial insects and natural enemies, humans and livestock within the conventional dosage range and can be mixed with most pesticides.
Emamectin benzoate has an activity that other pesticides cannot match against many pests, especially against Lepidoptera and Diptera, with super high efficiency, such as the red-banded leaf roller, tobacco aphid, cotton bollworm, tobacco hornworm, diamondback armyworm, beet armyworm, fall armyworm, cabbage looper, cabbage heart borer, cabbage striped borer, tomato hornworm, potato beetle, Mexican ladybird, etc. (Beetles do not belong to either Lepidoptera or Diptera)
