Product Description
Matrine is a natural plant-based pesticide with low toxicity to humans and animals. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with both contact and stomach poison effects. It has significant control effects on armyworms, cabbage caterpillars, aphids, and spider mites on various crops. It also provides ideal control of piercing-sucking insects such as aphids, lepidopteran insects like cabbage caterpillars, tea hairy caterpillars, and diamondback moths, as well as tea green leafhoppers and whiteflies. Furthermore, it is effective against downy mildew, blight, and anthracnose in vegetables. Its development warrants attention.
Applicable Crops:
1. For various forest leaf-eating pests such as pine caterpillars, poplar leafminers, and American white moths, spray evenly with a 1% matrine soluble liquid solution diluted 1000-1500 times during the 2nd-3rd instar larval stage.
2. For fruit tree leaf-eating pests such as tea caterpillars, jujube geometrid butterflies, and golden leafminer moths, spray evenly with a 1% matrine soluble liquid solution diluted 800-1200 times.
3. For cabbage caterpillars: Apply the pesticide approximately 7 days after the peak adult egg-laying period, when the larvae are in the 2nd-3rd instar. Use 500-700 ml of 0.3% matrine aqueous solution per acre, diluted in 40-50 kg of water, for spraying. This product is effective against young larvae but less sensitive to 4th-5th instar larvae.
