Product Description
Flonicamid is a pyridine amide insecticide with a new mechanism of action on the target. It has no effect on acetylcholinesterase and nicotinyl acetylcholine receptors, and has good neural effects and rapid antifeedant activity on aphids. The agent works by hindering the sucking action of pests. After the pests ingest the agent, they stop sucking soon and finally die of starvation. According to the analysis of electronic insect sucking behavior (EMIF), this agent can prevent the stylet tissue of sucking pests such as aphids from inserting into plant tissues and become effective. It has the characteristics of strong systemic absorption and good conduction activity, small dosage, high activity, and long lasting effect. It has no cross-resistance with organophosphate, carbamate and pyrethroid pesticides, and has good ecological compatibility. It also has high activity against cotton aphids that resist organophosphate, carbamate and pyrethroids. It is also effective against some other piercing-sucking mouthparts pests.

Uses
Flonicamid is selective, systemic, has strong penetration, and long lasting effect. It can be used for fruit trees, grains, potatoes, rice, cotton, vegetables, beans, cucumbers, eggplants, melons, tea trees and ornamental plants to control piercing-sucking mouthparts pests such as aphids, whiteflies, brown planthoppers, thrips and leafhoppers, among which it has a special effect on aphids.
