Product Description:
Halosulfuron-Methy is a highly effective sulfonylurea systemic herbicide, mainly used in agriculture to control stubborn weeds. It is absorbed through roots, stems, and leaves, inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS enzyme) of weeds, blocking the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids such as valine and isoleucine, and then inhibiting protein and DNA synthesis, leading to cell division stagnation, and ultimately killing weeds. This process has strong conductivity to sedge and some broad-leaved weeds, and can completely remove underground tubers.

Application:
Effective control of sedge weeds
1. Cyperus rotundus (Spinyleaf): kills both the above-ground part and the underground tubers, with a rhizome necrosis rate of over 92% 15 days after application.
2. Cyperus dimorphus and water chestnut: significant control effect on fragrant bran seeds (i.e. Cyperus rotundus) in rice fields and high safety.
Also controls broadleaf weeds
Effectively controls Xanthium sibiricum, Purslane, Amaranthus retroflexus, Solanum nigrum, etc.
